"My decision to purchase a bug was not a tough sale from the standpoint of the car itself. My only concern was whether today?s car ratings and comfort could live up to the bug I once owned and loved. After a bad experience purchasing my previous car though (I loved the car, a Toyota, but the buying experience left A LOT to be desired), I was dreading the prospect of the car-buying experience itself. After much research on available cars and visiting numerous dealerships (both VW and others), I was absolutely impressed with Emich. The dealership felt clean, inviting and spacious enough to stand back and look at a car without running into something or someone. I was acknowledged upon arrival, but not preyed upon (unlike other dealerships). 
My salesperson, Rhiannon, was available for me when I was ready to ask questions, but didn't hover while I looked. She was knowledgeable, understanding, helpful and most importantly, respectful. She listened to my needs and concerns and then walked me through the answers one at a time. Instead of laughing or rolling her eyes when she saw my list of car desires that included things like electric windows and cruise control, she patiently explained that those things are standard on most new cars now. She got me in to a car for a test-drive right away and explained many of the other standards like heated seats, blue tooth and push-button starting while we drove (I drove my previous car for 18 years- I was a bit out of touch). She didn't make me feel uncomfortable about the monthly dollar amounts I could consider either and presented me with a variety of options to think about. Because the car I really wanted was not available at the dealership at the time, she worked with management to make it available in a timely manner, but didn't make me feel pressured about a decision to buy it once it arrived.
Once I did decide, Rhiannon was efficient in scheduling the final test-drive and closing of the sale, making sure I felt comfortable and prepared. Both she and Iggy were extremely patient with me as I read every last word on every agreement I signed and both answered all of my questions with the confidence only a well-trained staff can posses.
Overall, my experience with Emich so far has been positive and changed my view of the car-buying experience. I look forward to being able to give the service department a similar positive review"
