"Once I decided to buy a new car this dealership was the first place I stopped. I then proceeded to check other dealerships to look at different brands/cars.
I decided to go back to this dealership because of the level of engagement and professionalism Blake, the sales counsutant, provided me during my first visit. However, the day I went back was a Saturday after 8pm. I called Blake to let him know I was going back. Before I arrived he had pulled the two cars I was interested out for me to compare side-by-side and test drive.
Despite the fact that they closed at 9pm, Blake, Dave and the other Dave stayed for an extra 2 hours to finish my paperwork. At no point they showed any frustration or rushed me through the process. This is by far the best experience I have had buying a car."

"I wrote a very positive letter to Mr. Emich about my personal salesman and the business manager that assisted me. I was always going to buy a Jetta TIA, but the reason I bought from Emich was because of the positive experience I had with the people who helped me buy my new car. There is only one small problem which is the glove compartment first wouldn't close and now won't open. This problem was noticed by my sales representative and he tried to have it fixed before I took possession of the car. However, the necessary part was missing and he will call me as soon as it arrives and have the service department take care of it. All in all, my experience with Emich was extremely positive and I expressed the reasons why in a letter I wrote to Mr. Emich. Thank you very much!!!"

"I have bought many cars in the past and I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have had with a Car Dealership. When I drove away I was happy with my purchase. After a few weeks I began to have some troubles with the car I purchased (I purchased a used vehicle) . Then, 5 weeks in, I had a major problem. I contacted my sales person (John Orlando) and the sales manager (Dave Gutenberg) and both were quick to respond and offer solutions. What I was expecting to hear was was the same old run-around that I had bought a used car and that the dealership couldn't (and wouldn't) do anything to help me. They took care of all my needs and sound excited about my business. Phil contacted me several times to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything. This is my 3rd Beetle and I would go back to Denver if I were to purchase again. When I arrived from Montana, Emich provided a ride to there local. I was confronted by other sales people who welcomed me to the dealership. I have always admired German automotive engineering and looks and ride of the Jetta and Passat are fantastic. I was very impressed with the clean diesel that Volkswagen has developed in their Jetta. Phil was really wonderful to work with. The last time I bought a car (from a different dealer), I felt like I was being "handled" and that the dealer and the salesman were not giving me all the information I needed. I picked up my 02 Beetle earlier this evening. I was very impressed with the service and the car! I mentioned before that customer service was a lost art. The service department was wonderful with fixing my car and explaining the rolling niose! As it turns out, because of the turbo, the rolling noise is the spoiler lowering back down, so the sound is "normal". Being a family of 5, all driving, I am happy to finally find a dealership we would like to return to for purchasing a car!

An email received 2-9-09 Fred,
Today I was in your car dealership to take care of a problem, my 2000
VW Jetta ignition key had just broken down. I made my way over to
parts where Carlos helped me out. After a quick re-key for $90 ouch! I
was directed to Jason in service to have my new cut key programmed.
Despite not having an appointment, Jason got me in right away and
quoted a 1 hour time to get it done. My car was finished in half that
time! While paying the $60 fee for programming, ouch again!, I
noticed the key was not assembled. When Jason came to the cashier he
mentioned that somebody had glued the remote door entry together and
that it may be really tough to get apart. As it turns out... the
remote door opener had so much glue on it explosives would have been
needed to pry it apart.
Where most car dealerships would have said "sorry, I can sell you a
new one if you like" Jason spent the time to try and pry it open.
When he could not get it open he searched for a possible used
replacement lying around. After realizing an Audi unit would not work
he scored a VW half of a remote that did.
The result? An incredibly satisfied customer that will not only tell
his boss how awesome that move was but 100 potential customers this
weekend why they should go to Emich VW! I mean that. Could he have
sold me a new unit? Yes. I would have bought it-I had no choice. Will
you make more money in the long run as not only I, but my employees
and friends will go to you for service and new and used car sales.
Unfortunately, we rarely experience extraordinary service in todays
world. While I bemoan having to shell out $150 for a car key I
realize that is a VW thing and not an Emich thing. I also understand
that as an owner of a restaurant, driven by customer service, your
employee Jason illustrated what excellent service is all about. And I
am gonna tell anybody who will listen all about it! Well done!
