More innovation has been implemented in the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 to further push the electric SUV into the forefront of the market. For example, a new baseline Standard trim level has been introduced to the family of vehicles. This helps lower the entry-level price of the electric vehicle to provide even greater accessibility. Another new trim is the Pro S. This version of the ID.4 adds even more luxurious elements to the Volkswagen for the ultimate family cruising experience. Performance 

While the same single rear electric motor setup is present in the Standard trim of the 2023 ID.4, it uses a smaller 58 kWh battery to help make the vehicle even more accessible. The powertrain still supplies an impressive 201 effective horsepower and has an estimated mileage range of 208 miles on a single charge of the battery. It also maintains the standard RWD handling of the previous iteration. Other trims regain the larger battery and the same 280 estimated mileage range as the 2022 model year ID.4. Dual-motor setups that offer 295 horsepower and AWD handling also return in the 2023 ID.4.  

Interior Features

With the introduction of the deluxe Pro S trim for the 2023 ID.4, passengers of the enhanced Volkswagen have even more interior amenities to enjoy. Rear-seated passengers get the welcome comfort that heated functionality in their seats offers to match the front seats. A new three-zone automatic climate control system adds even more personalization to the cabin temperature for optimal cruising in any weather. All 2023 ID.4 models now have the previously optional 12-inch touchscreen to access all the various multimedia applications that the electric SUV has to offer. Music and other forms of media content played in the Pro S trim get even greater audio quality thanks to the addition of a premium audio system.

Directly carried over from the 2022 iteration of the electric SUV, driver-assistance features in the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 are extensive. Opting for a version of the ID.4 that is equipped with the dual-motor powertrain gets the excellent handling proficiency of AWD maneuverability.
