Building off the successful 2022 model year of the innovative electric SUV, a new entry point trim level has been introduced for the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4. Known as the Standard trim, this version of the EV comes with a smaller battery to help get the price into an even more competitive range. The single electric motor setup on the rear axle still offers drivers the same 201 horsepower and functional RWD handling they got from the previous year’s base trim models. An estimated mileage range of 208 miles on a single charge of the battery is still plenty to make this new entry ID.4 ideal for everyday Colorado tasks.
Although the Standard comes at a lower cost than the old baseline Pro trim, the interior has been kept remarkably loaded with comfort and infotainment features. All-season comfort through automatic dual-zone climate control and heated front seating ensures every passenger is treated to the elite ride they deserve. Convenient features such as a wireless smartphone charging pad add to the versatility of the everyday ride in the electric SUV. The Pro trim was the old baseline version of the ID.4. Now it resides just above the newly created Standard trim level of the EV. Everything about the previous iterations of the Pro returns for the 2023 model year including the larger battery that offers an estimated 275 mileage range on a single battery charge. ID.4 Pro models can also add a second electric motor to the front axle for 295 horsepower and functional 4Motion® AWD handling.

Both trims of the 2023 ID.4 have “S” variants that accentuate the feel of the cabin to the extreme.
