There are seven prepaid scheduled maintenance plans to choose from in three different categories – Volkswagen Care Basic, Volkswagen Care Extra, and Volkswagen Care 40 through 80.  Through the VW Basic plan, you can cover model year 2016 through 2019 and 2020 electric vehicles, and it provides 10,000-mile and 20,000-mile maintenances shown in the booklet in your vehicle.  For the VW Extra plan, you can purchase coverage starting at a 2014 model year and up (excluding the Routan) and can go up to the 30,000-mile routine maintenances shown in your model’s booklet.  And lastly, the VW 40 through 80 plans are self-explanatory.  These plans can be purchased from 2014 and newer model years (excluding the Routan) and are available ranging from 40,000-mile to 80,000-mile plans for longer coverage.
