VW ID.BUGGY Concept Makes World Debut

Volkswagen has made an exciting debut at the Geneva International Motor Show —  the VW ID.BUGGY concept.  This amazing vehicle draws on inspiration from the classic dune buggies from the 60s and brings it into the electric vehicle age.  It also shows the versatility of the VW modular electric drive matrix (MEB).  This innovative design features no roof and no doors.  The interior is waterproof and features two integrated seats and a digital cockpit.  This BUGGY shows that fun can be functional, thanks to the electric platform.  It is an amazing blend of futuristic design paired with retro vibe.  The ID. BUGGY is powered by a 62 kWh lithium-ion battery which is located in the floor.  It powers a 201-hp electric motor which has an expected range of 155 miles.
