Limited Edition 2022 VW Passat Announced as Sedan Enters Last Year of Production
To make way for the commitment to full-electric vehicle production, Volkswagen recently announced that the 2022 VW Passat will be the last iteration of the popular sedan. However, they are making the last model year of the vehicle their best yet with a special Limited Edition version. The Passat has been made in the United States in Chattanooga, Tennessee since 2011 and has been noted by the company as a key reason for its popularity in many states including Colorado.
Only 1,973 Limited Edition 2022 VW Passat models will be produced, with the number signifying the year the sedan was introduced in its native Germany. There will be four different color options available for purchase, each having a predesignated number of vehicles under that specific coloration. Additional exterior changes for the Limited Edition Passat include 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 15 spokes, as well as LED headlights. The front seating inside a 2022 Limited Edition Passat will have unique tagging denoting the special exclusivity of the sedan. Other interior features include a stylish mat inside the front cupholders which depicts an aerial view of Chattanooga and the VW facility.
